For so long I pushed, moved on the next goal, and For so long I pushed, moved on the next goal, and believed the answer was more. As I fallen more in alignment, I am realizing in a lot of ways it is actually less, more intention, and noticing what is already there.

While there are also business changes that are being implemented, I am finding that success of it all is much more related to my energy.

For me when I slow down, rest, incorporate play, the impactful and focused work flows so much easier.

We say things like:
- I need to find the motivation
- I don’t have the time
- I am not good with money

But what if, it’s actually we are out of alignment. Whether it’s the season of life we are in, all the things we said yes to when we didn’t have the capacity, or following a path not truly meant for us.

Today I encourage you to pause even if it’s only for a moment to reflect on where you are feeling like you have to push or that you are being pulled in a direction you don’t truly want.
“I want to be better with my finances.” It so “I want to be better with my finances.”

It sounds simple… but most of the time, it’s not actually what you need.

Because “being better” usually turns into:
- trying harder
- avoiding it when it feels overwhelming
- judging yourself for what you don’t know

And that cycle keeps you stuck.

What if instead, you focused on understanding?

Understanding what your numbers are telling you.
Understanding how your business actually supports your life.
Understanding what decisions to make next (without second guessing yourself).

That’s the shift.

Inside Profit Shift, we’re not trying to make you “better” with money.

We’re helping you feel clear, confident, and in control of it.

No shame.
No judgment.
Just real conversations and practical support.

If you’re ready for that kind of relationship with your finances, you’re invited in.
There’s a difference between having someone “d There’s a difference between having someone “do your numbers”…and having someone who sits with you in the decisions behind them.

That’s exactly what we do inside Profit Shift.

It’s not just about learning your numbers.
It’s about having a space to process them, understanding them, and trust yourself as you make decisions in your business.

If you’ve been craving that kind of support with your money and your business, doors to Profit Shift are open now.

We are taking a minute to celebrate wrapping up Tax Season 2026 and Sheila’s 20th tax season of her career (which is impressive considering she is like 28)!

In a time where a lot of accounting firms (especially the smaller ones) are eliminating tax preparation as an offer, we truly are grateful for the clients we get to serve!

In times like these where the decisions being made by the government might not align, it’s even more important to us that our clients are able to make fully informed financial decisions and build profitable businesses!

Cheers to tax deadline day!

(Don’t forget to stop and celebrate the milestones in your own business and life, you deserve to celebrate!)
Building a business when there is no one else to l Building a business when there is no one else to lean on financially takes a different kind of bravery!

It was the hardest thing and yet the best thing that could have happened FOR me.

The ways I used to try to outsource my trust, hold myself back, stay stuck in patterns that were simply what I knew….NO LONGER became options.

I literally had no other choice but to build something that would truly be sustainable for ME (and my kids). I had to get real about the victimhood narrative that showed up regularly. I had to be honest about where I was seeking safety in things outside of myself (money, relationships, validation, etc).

And the biggest reality was to address what I was carrying…the weight of it all fell to me because I had built it all around needing ME. Control and being needing were the old beliefs that were woven into all the parts of my life.

When I broke through all of that, I could see bigger. I could trust in the timing and other people. I could see where I was overstepping in trying to “help”. I could see where I had choices when before I felt stuck. I built connections with clients that allow them to see results.

It wasn’t in doing more, it was stripping down all the parts that weren’t actually the authentic ME. It was building structure and systems to carry the weight. It’s in opening up the possibility to be misunderstood if it means I am not longer abandoning myself.

I will preach it from the rooftops business ownership and motherhood will require you to face those parts and pieces of you that you have built walls trying to protect.

The Ted Lasso “boss ass bitch” energy has been awakened and there is no putting it back!
Your body craves safety and we can setup our busin Your body craves safety and we can setup our business finances in a way that supports that. When we don’t have it, things can feel really scattered and all over the place, making it hard to create sustainability long term.

Maybe it looks like a business model that has recurring revenue. If it doesn’t then our financial systems need to have more forecast and prediction metrics built in.

Both can help to support the feeling of safety in our nervous system, but they might look different.

Ready to build your sustainable financial systems? Profit Shift starts May 7th!
